RDMp

The RDMp is a diagnostic framework to help guide you with a trainee in difficulty. It will help you diagnose the area of difficulty and as such will assist educational supervisors and programme directors develop plans to assist struggling trainees. More detail can be found here.

We have developed this form to help you. It is partly taken from the Milton Keynes GP Training Programme. There are seven steps which guide you through the assessment of your trainee. The final form should be completed and emailed to the appropriate training programme director so that they can discuss your concerns with you. We decided at a trainer's workshop, to just undertake these if you have any concerns about a trainee, particularly when doing an ESR.

Once you have identified where the problem lies, you can use SKIPE (or SKAPE) to see what may be causing, or influencing, the problem.
